    NLU Ranking: Top Law Schools in India

    Since most serious takers have started preparation, it is a good time to find out about the top NLUs in India so that you can target the desired institute well in advance

    Note: Ranking starts beyond Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata, which undisputedly occupy the first, second and the third positions respectively

    15-18 Vizag 138 12 <50% of total seats available for All India unreserved segment. Except for Vizag & Ranchi, others are less than 10 years old, without location advantage. Very high-rank coefficients mean student potential will largely vary within the batch. Except for Ranchi (State capital), no location advantage

    Note:

    1. NLU Delhi admits students through AILET, whereas we have referred to CLAT-specific data at several places in this blog. Hence, this institute is out of the scope of this discussion. All other national law universities accept CLAT scores, hence within the ranking scope 
    2. NLU Shimla/Aurangabad/Jabalpur/Sonipat are in the initial years of operation. Hence we have not included them in this ranking
