Update – IISC Bangalore has released the basic version of the COAP website along with all the important dates, participating institutes, and other instructions. COAP registration 2025 should begin soon too. Check the blog below for all the latest information.
COAP Registration 2025: The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a centralized platform where candidates with valid GATE scores can access and accept admission offers for M.Tech programs from participating IITs and other leading institutes.
In this blog post, we will provide a comprehensive breakdown of the COAP 2025 process, including important key dates that candidates should be aware of, the various options available to them, and essential guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient admission journey. By understanding the intricacies of the COAP process, candidates can navigate their admissions with greater confidence and clarity.
The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) was introduced in 2017 to streamline the admission process for M.Tech programs and job offers from Public Sector Units (PSUs). It allows candidates to view and accept offers from 24 IITs and IISc Bangalore through a unified portal.
COAP simplifies decision-making by allowing candidates to compare offers from multiple institutes in one place, ensuring a transparent and efficient admission process. This centralized system ensures that no candidate holds multiple offers, allowing fairer access to available seats.
Note: COAP is NOT an application portal for M.Tech admissions. Candidates must apply separately to the respective institutes.
COAP 2025 is coordinated by IIT Kanpur, with the following 24 participating institutes:
Institute | Institute | Institute |
IISc Bangalore | IIT Bombay | IIT Delhi |
IIT Bhilai | IIT Bhubaneswar | IIT Dharwad |
IIT Gandhinagar | IIT Goa | IIT Guwahati |
IIT Hyderabad | IIT Indore | IIT (ISM) Dhanbad |
IIT Jammu | IIT Jodhpur | IIT Kanpur |
IIT Kharagpur | IIT Madras | IIT Mandi |
IIT Palakkad | IIT Patna | IIT Roorkee |
IIT Ropar | IIT Tirupati | IIT BHU (Varanasi) |
