Conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance test for management aspirants conducted in centres across the country. Accepted by over 600 B-schools, the MAT exam is one of the nation’s most popular management aptitude tests. Unlike other tests, MAT offers unmatched flexibility; it is conducted in 3 different modes, and students can take it multiple times to maximise their scores. Students targeting schools such as Amity University, Noida, Birla Institute of Management, Christ University, Amrita School of Business, and Lovely Professional University should opt for this exam. With the looming MAT registration last date for 2024 coming up in a few weeks, students should put in their application for this prestigious exam soon.
In this blog, we’ll cover all the information you need to send in your applications for MAT 2024 in time. We’ve covered all the modes of the test as well as how to register for this exam in just a few steps.
To increase accessibility for students from all corners of India, AIMA conducts MAT in three different modes – the paper-based test, computer-based test, and internet-based test. Each mode has a different last date to register, making it confusing for students.

For instance, if you opt for PBT + IBT modes, then you need to ensure your registration is completed and submitted by 20th February. Similarly, for all other modes, you must keep track of all the last dates coming up, lest you miss one.
