The MH CET Law syllabus 2025 has five sections for the 5-year LLB program: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge of Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and English and Mathematical Aptitude.
MH CET LAW Syllabus for Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning:
This section aims to assess candidates’ interest in the field of law, their legal aptitude, and their problem-solving abilities. Questions in this section will be constructed using legal statements (prepositions) and a set of facts to which these statements must be applied.
It’s important to note that some of these statements may not necessarily reflect reality. Candidates must assume the truth of these statements and provide answers based on logically supported conclusions.
The subject matter includes History (covering Ancient, Medieval, and Modern periods), Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and Current Affairs from the previous year. This subject aims to evaluate individuals’ understanding of recent events and their awareness of global developments.
This subject evaluates the candidate’s skills in recognizing patterns and logical connections and correcting illogical arguments. It encompasses various activities, including drawing analogies, completing arguments, forming well-supported conclusions, reasoning through analogies, and applying principles or rules.
Furthermore, it assesses the candidate’s capacity to comprehend the structure and relationships within given information and make logical inferences based on that structure. This involves deductive reasoning based on sets of statements, rules, or principles that outline the relationships among individuals, objects, or events.
