One of the most important parts of any preparation is having a timetable that an aspirant can follow. The timetable helps maintain the consistency needed in the preparation of the CLAT. It is a guide to the aspirant’s daily routine. On average, the aspirant should at least prepare for the CLAT seven to eight hours daily including coaching hours
Another critical aspect of an aspirant’s preparation is to plan and prepare a strategy for what and how she/he will do in the journey. Preparing a long-term strategy helps keep students motivated. It also sorts out future confusion about what must be done or which subject to pick.
Studying without revising never helps. Candidates tend to forget what they had learned previously when they start learning new information, That why revising old things is students is very important.
Reading and analyzing previous year’s CLAT question papers helps the aspirant better understand the exam pattern. A few things that aspirants can keep in mind while analyzing the previous year’s paper are the most asked questions, the pattern of questions, the weightage granted to each section, etc. Before sitting in the actual exam, the aspirant should solve at least previous year question papers as they give a real idea.
Mock papers for CLAT 2025 are like putting your theoretical knowledge into practice. Mock is a demo version of the actual examination. Giving mocks helps in many ways, including identifying weak spots.
Once students give a mock, they can observe where they are lacking or getting wrong answers, so they can focus on that area while revising or studying. Mocks also help in planning a strategy. Strategy is basically what questions to attempt or how many questions.
Just a month before the examination, candidates get panicked, overwhelmed, and confused about what to study. The confusion is justified because it matters what they do a few weeks before the exam. The strategy should be according to the need and time.
Candidates should not start anything new a month before the exam as it can hamper confidence. Also, preparing something new will not be fruitful as an aspirant won’t get enough time to revise what they read and will take unnecessary time, which can be invested in other things like revising.
Giving mocks is the best method of practising. Attempting and analysing mocks will help the candidate on Exam day. One way an aspirant can analyse the mock is to observe the accuracy they are getting, how many questions they guessed were right, and how many questions they attempted, which brings them close to sound marks.
