The IIM Ahmedabad Executive MBA Eligibility (MBA-PGPX) is designed for working professionals with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Basic criteria for the PGPX Application:
– A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India, i.e., 10 + 2 + 3 or 4, as the case may be).
– Minimum age of 25 years as of March 31, 2025 (i.e., must be born on or before March 31, 2000). There is no upper age limit.
The following are GMAT/GRE score requirements:
A valid GMAT/GRE score is required, and the test must have been taken within the last 5 years.
Additionally, the new GMAT Focus Edition exam scores will also be acceptable. Please be aware that only test centre-based GMAT/GRE scores are considered valid; online GMAT/GRE (Take-home) exam scores will not be accepted.

GMAT Score Validity
The selection process for the PGPX 2025-26 batch comprises three rounds. Candidates are chosen based on their performance in standardised tests (GMAT/GRE), leadership assessments, and personal interviews.
The process consists of two stages. In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted for personal interviews from the pool of applicants. The shortlisted candidates are then required to submit essays on specific topics within a given time frame.
In the second and final stage, the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel of IIMA faculty members.
